#PinsForTexas: Giving Back to the Animals in Houston
Hurricane Harvey is a nightmare. Just watching what's happening in Houston is insanely difficult –– I can't even imagine living it. And although we may be hundreds of miles away, we can still feel the heartbreaking effects of this disaster through our amazing Frenchie friends down in Texas who we have grown to love as family.
That's why we want to do all we can to give back and help those in need. While our hearts break for everyone affected, our focus is on the animals. So many were left behind, stranded and helpless. And it's our job as humans to protect them, to save them...to love them.
So far, we have donated whatever we could to animal rescue organizations in Houston and surrounding areas. But it doesn't seem like enough. We need to do more. And that's why we need your help.
From now until Friday (September 1st), we will be donating $5 for every pin purchased. Our donations will go directly to animal rescue and relief organizations in Houston.
The organizations on our list include:
- Houston SPCA
- Houston Humane Society
- Austin Pets Alive
- Harris County Animal Shelter
- Dallas DogRRR
