Let's Play: #FBLEXPLORERS Contest
Contest time! Put your creative hats on it. It's time to play #FBLEXPLORERS! I've been throwing the idea of a contest around for a while, but really wanted it to be unique and special. Something that would inspire people to get outside and engage in their surroundings. We spend so much time looking down at screens, I think it's very important we take some time to look around and really appreciate the places and things around us. #FBLEXPLORERS is a great way to enjoy good old Mother Nature with your pups by your side.
A few months ago, I was walking on the boardwalk here in Staten Island with my main main, Romeo. While digging through my purse for doggy treats, I came across one of my French Bulldog Love business cards. I was instantly inspired to hold the colorful card in the air, with the beautiful ocean creating the perfect backdrop.
I was so pleased with the outcome, I started looking for more backdrops. I must've looked like a crazy person out there, holding a piece of paper in the air and taking photos while spinning around and around. But who cares? This was fun!
I began taking stacks of my cards with me on all my outdoor adventures. Not only was it a fun way to use my adorable business cards, but it also encouraged me to really stop and appreciate my surroundings.
It inspired me to get outside more. To adventure more. What else could I find? What else could I shoot? What more beautiful scenery can I stumble into? I was hooked.
